Turn Around

Turn Around is a musical project that originated in Groningen. Formed through a series of jam sessions, the ensemble — Viltė Želvytė (bass), Stella Mihaylova (vocals), Dion Hoorn (sax), Isabel Ruiz Vicente (piano), and Alexia Harpa (drums) — developed a strong artistic connection inspired by shared creativity.

Viltė Želvytė is a 20-year-old double and electric bass player, as well as a vocalist, from Lithuania. Having started her musical journey since early childhood years, she is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in the Netherlands, expanding her knowledge rapidly and immersing into the scene. Her work blends traditional and contemporary jazz elements, drawing inspiration from Lithuanian folklore.
